Mondo Porras of Denver’s Choppers and Les Covington of Covington’s MC Shoppe are looking for pre-1970 Choppers, Bobbers, Diggers, Cut Downs, and Radicals for a real deal old school bike show to be held at this years Hollister Independence Rally, at the Veterans Memorial Building in Hollister California, Friday, July 1st, 2016.

“Best of Show”
Mondo’s choice. Winner receives a custom built Denver’s Choppers springer built by Mondo and a new Paughco wishbone rigid frame.
David Mann Award “Mann-Kind” Righteous & Correct
Jacquie Mann will pick the bike the David would have liked best. The winner will receive the award, gift items from Jacquie Mann, & $500 cash. (Jacquie will be judging remotely with help from Mondo and Les due to a prior engagement)
“Best Chopper”
Awards for the best old school choppers 60’s & 70’s style.
“Best Bobber”
Awards for the best bobbers or cut-down 50’s & 60’s style.
“Most Original”
Motorcycles with the most factory original parts, restored or survivor.
“Best Radical”
This class includes highly modified vintage motorcycles and wild designs.
“Best Custom”
Custom old school bikes with newer style components.

Accomodations
Bolado Park is the official RV / Campground site for Hollister Independence Rally 2016
The Park is located in the beautiful countryside of San Benito County at the Bolado Park Event Center, home of the San Benito County Fair. Located 8 miles South of Hollister, San Benito County Fairgrounds is a great setting for motorcycle enthusiasts. You can camp under the trees or on open paved areas. All groups are welcome. 30/50 amp electric, water, sewer, and a dump station are available for a fee. Hollister Powersports will run a free shuttle from the park to the downtown event daily.
Hotels in Hollister are limited and will fill up fast. The town of Gilroy California is 15 miles NW of Hollister and has many hotel and RV / Camping options.
